Boucheron’s iconic codes continue to inspire and distinguish the Maison’s eyewear through precious embellishments and unexpected reflections of light that turn every style into a symbol of modern design and luxurious refinement. The new SS 2019 collection illustrates unique savoir-faire and artisanal flair in an alluring variety of gold, red gold, shiny palladium and shiny chocolate finishings applied to the frames as well as in the intricate details crafted with the lost-wax casting technique drawn from the goldsmith tradition.

The distinctive cat-eye frames play with delicate profiles in lightweight metal and bold contours in smooth acetate, enriched with mother-of-pearl and opal shades for a further touch of sophistication. An extremely feminine twist is also given by the enchanting decors of the Serpent Bohème styles: the drop motif inspired by the serpent’s head is accurately enameled and placed on the front angles of the acetate frames, while the snakeskin texture lends its three-dimensional appeal to the slim metal temples.

The elegant cat-eye design combines an acetate front in mother-of-pearl and opal nuances with slim metal temples finished in yellow and red gold and enriched with the snakeskin texture. The front angles are accentuated with an enamel drop motif matching the tone of the frame, which is fitted with signature nose pads featuring the iconic Place Vendôme logo
