In honor of Kate Hudson’s appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), Michael Kors, Kate Hudson and Rehan Asad participated in an interactive panel moderated by Natalie Morales in front of 300 students at UCLA.

“Hunger is a solvable problem, it’s a global issue, and it’s something everyone can get involved in,” says Kors. “Kate is infectious in the best way. We wanted to get the message out there with warmth, intelligence, humor and joy—and she is all of that. I knew that she would be a perfect partner for WFP.”

Michael Kors also hosted an intimate dinner in Los Angeles to celebrate Kate Hudson’s appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

“Kate, by lending your voice, your platform, your time and your incredibly big heart to this cause, you have changed the lives of so many people around the world,” said Kors. “And I know this ambassadorship will help you do even more.”
